1925 Moonlight Catalog
In this old fishing lure gallery you will see a original 1925 Moonlight Bait and
Novelty Works Lure Catalog.
By 1925 Moonlight had made their merger with Silver Creek Bait and Novelty
works, thus producing, the Moonlight Bait and Novelty Works Co. You will see
lures in their line up such as the Pikaroon, and the Eats Us line up which were
a direct result of the old fishing lure companies mergers. Notice though that
after approximately 20 plus years they still have the Moonlight Floating bait in
the old fishing lure line up. You can see an example of this old fishing lure in
picture 3. you will also get to see an example of a Moonlight Floating 5 Hook
minnow, while at the time most of the fishing lure industry was producing
underwater minnows by the thousands, Moonlight took a different approach and
made a floater, however you'll notice in the catalog they make mention of using
a sinker to make it a dual use minnow.
Please note while striving for picture clarity in
this old fishing lure catalog gallery I've had to make some sacrifices, and decided to go for
quality over speed. So dial up users may have a bit of a delay when clicking the
image to full size, but I thought it would be worth it. Its not a big delay,
just a hair more than the other old fishing lure galleries, I just thought it
merited mentioning.
